Admission Requirement

100 level- JAMB scores as may be approved by senate and five (5) 'O’ LEVEL CREDITS INCLUDING English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other science subjects

Direct Entry:

200 level – At least two (2) A ‘level passes in Mathematics and Physics, OND Upper Credit with a Distinction in Agricultural and Bio-Resources Engineering or HND Lower Credit in Agricultural and Bio-Resources Engineering is accepted.

Online Registration The procedure for registration is as follows:
  • Buy an unlimited ABU online registration access scract card with payment of school fees at any branch of Intercontinental Bank pls or any other designated Banks.
  • Open the ABU Zaria website using and click on the Online Registration link. When the page opens, enter the pin code from the scratch card to allow you access to register
  • Click on the New Student or Old Student as the case may be
  • Follow the on=screen instructions to fill in your student information form, payment details and course registration form
  • Print a copy of each form filled, which then be taken to the Departmental Registration Officer for signature and documentation
  • Make sure you click on logout to end your online registration session
Course Registration Guide A student must register at the beginning of every session. A minimum of 12 Credit Unit and a maximum of 24 Credit Unit per semester at all level is required for a full time student. A student with CGPA of less than 2.0 cannot register more than 18 Credit Unit per semester. A student may drop out of a course, in writing to the Head of Department, without academic penalty before the end of the first five (5) weeks of the semester and the course shall not be recorded on the academic transcript.
